Massage chair for the home: doors, space, materials and design
All iRest massage chairs are designed for the home, but before buying it is worth checking four things: whether the chair fits through your door, how much space it needs when reclined, what it is made of and whether it suits your interior. This article answers all four and includes a table with the dimensions of every model.
Will a massage chair fit through the door?
Most iRest chairs need a door opening of 80 cm – a standard apartment door. Two exceptions:
- QL A185 – the most compact, it needs only a 70 cm door opening.
- Enjoyfy A2805 – the widest (84 cm), it needs an 85 cm opening; it will not pass through a standard 80 cm door.
Measure not only the apartment door, but also the stairwell, lift and room doors – the opening without the door leaf. If in doubt, send us the door width and the model – we will check before delivery.
How much space do you need at home?
The most important dimension is not the size of the chair when seated, but its length when fully reclined. Most large chairs extend to 1.9–2.1 m, compact ones to 1.2–1.7 m. The second important point is how much space is needed behind the backrest.
The Zero Wall function lets you place the chair almost against the wall: when reclining it slides forward rather than back. This function is available on Brillactiq A665 (about 10 cm from the wall is enough), Grandease+ A550, Queentri A357, Supearl+ A336, Supearl Open+ A336-31 and Enjoyfy A2805. Without Zero Wall the chair needs more free space behind the backrest.

Is a massage chair suitable for a small apartment?
Yes. Roomy A186 (only 140 cm reclined, 60 kg), QL A185 (swivelling, reclines like an office chair, 42 kg) and EasyQ A166 are made for smaller spaces. If you want a large chair but have little room, choose a model with Zero Wall.
What materials are the chairs made of?
Almost all iRest chairs are upholstered in eco-leather (synthetic leather). For the home it is the most practical choice:
- easy to clean – a damp cloth is enough, and it does not collect dust or pet hair;
- wear-resistant – during a massage the upholstery constantly moves and rubs, so durability matters more than the softness of fabric;
- pleasant to the touch – soft, quilted elements (e.g. Roomy, Queentri, Delightry).
Some models combine materials: Enjoyfy A2805 uses eco-leather with fabric, and Joey BA1001 can be ordered in genuine cowhide leather, eco-leather or chenille fabric. The commercial R-Pass T103 has Fire Safety certified eco-leather and an ABS plastic body.
Caring for eco-leather: clean with a soft damp cloth, do not use solvents, and do not place the chair in direct sunlight or next to a radiator. More in the article on massage chair care.
Design: will the chair suit your interior?
iRest chairs do not look like medical equipment – they are furniture that fits a living room or bedroom:
- Minimalist and modern – Chillin, Supearl, EasyQ, Ixpirio: clean lines, black or beige.
- Cosy, rounded shapes – Queentri, Enjoyfy, Roomy (with LED lighting in the backrest).
- Distinctive – Delightry with geometric side panels, Eagleton in cream–gold or graphite–black, Maesthron in black–brown or beige, suited to classic and art déco interiors.
- Like an ordinary armchair – Joey BA1001 looks like a soft recliner, and QL like a piece of designer furniture.
Most models come in at least two colours – usually black (graphite) and beige.
Is a massage chair noisy and how much power does it use?
Most iRest chairs have a noise level of up to 55–60 dB, similar to a quiet conversation, so they do not disturb TV watching. Rated power ranges from 55 W (QL) to 280 W (Eagleton). Even the most powerful model uses less than 0.1 kWh during a 20-minute program.
Is the chair suitable for the whole family?
Many chairs scan the body before the massage and adjust the massage height, so they suit people of different heights. Note the maximum user height: compact models are designed for up to 180 cm, while Chillin, Supearl Open+ and Maesthron go up to 200 cm. Wider seats (Enjoyfy 53 cm, Brillactiq 52 cm) are more comfortable for people with a larger build.
Delivery and assembly
Delivery in Lithuania is free. The chairs arrive in one or two boxes; the heaviest models weigh over 100 kg, so if you live on an upper floor without a lift, let us know in advance. All chairs come with a 2-year warranty.

For the home, eco-leather is the most practical – it is easy to clean and wear-resistant. Joey BA1001 can also be ordered in genuine leather or fabric.
