Massage Chair Maintenance

Isversk i ANGLU (britu) kalba: The chair is both a piece of furniture and a piece of technology. Maintenance isn't complicated, but a few things determine whether it will look and work like new after five years.

Upholstery

Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Solvents, alcohol, chlorine-based cleaners and abrasive sponges are not suitable — they damage the surface of the covering and cause it to start flaking. Genuine leather is worth treating with a leather care product once every six months.

Clean stains straight away. A stain that has soaked into a light-coloured upholstery is difficult to remove.

Where to place it

Not next to a radiator and not in direct sunlight — heat and ultraviolet rays cause the covering to harden and fade. The room should be dry: moisture is harmful to the electronics.

Before cleaning and after use

Before cleaning, unplug the chair from the mains. If you won't be using it for an extended period, leave it in an upright position and unplug it.

Mechanism

Do not sit on or press against the chair while it is moving. Do not let children play with the remote control. If an unusual noise or clicking occurs, or the mechanism stops in the wrong position — stop using it and get in touch, rather than attempting to take it apart yourself.

Everyday details

Do not sit down with keys or a phone in your pockets — they scratch the upholstery from the inside. In summer, it's worth covering the chair with a thin sheet: sweat and suntan lotion are the most common cause of wear on light-coloured upholstery.

Service after the warranty period

Once the warranty has expired, the chair doesn't stop working — usually it's the wearable parts that need replacing: air valves, the remote, and occasionally the motor. It's worth checking in advance whether these parts are available.
