How much does a massage chair cost? Prices explained

Massage chair prices in Lithuania start at around one and a half thousand euros, with flagships above ten thousand. The difference is not prestige but concrete engineering: the mechanism, the track system and the features. Here is the full iRest price table and what you actually pay for.

Three price classes

Compact (€1,390–2,970): 2D/3D mechanisms, shorter tracks, simple controls. Premium (€2,570–6,290): full SL back track, zero gravity, air-cushion leg massage, heating. Flagships (€6,970–11,970): 4D mechanisms, AI body scanning, split tracks.

What you actually pay for

The mechanism is the biggest cost driver: 2D rollers move in two directions, 3D adds depth, 4D varies rhythm. The track length decides how much of your back gets massaged. Features — zero gravity, heating, air cushions — matter for daily comfort but cost less than the mechanism.

Running costs

Electricity use is minor and there is no mandatory servicing — upkeep is close to zero.

Compared to a massage therapist

A session costs €35–50 in Lithuania. Used a few times a week, even a Premium model matches one or two years of therapist visits. An honest caveat: a chair does not replace rehabilitative massage by a specialist — it is for daily, preventive use.
