Massage chair for tall or larger people: which one to choose

For a tall person, a massage chair often massages the wrong spots – the massage rollers do not reach the shoulders and the feet do not fit into the leg rest. For a larger person, seat width and the weight limit matter. Every iRest chair has clear limits: maximum user height, weight and seat width. Below – which models fit people up to 200 cm tall and up to 150 kg.
In short: which one to choose
- Height up to 200 cm – Chillin Open A360-31, Chillin+ A360, Supearl Open+ A336-31, Maesthron A801, Dual Core V8.
- Height up to 195 cm with 3D/4D massage – Queentri A357, Grandease+ A550, Brillactiq A665, Eagleton.
- Weight up to 150 kg – most iRest chairs; the exceptions are EasyQ A166, Delightry A553 and Enjoyfy A2805 (up to 120 kg).
- Widest seat – Enjoyfy A2805 (53 cm) and Brillactiq A665 (52 cm).
What “maximum user height” means
The massage rollers move along a track of limited length. If a person is taller than the stated limit, two things happen: the rollers no longer reach the shoulders and the top of the neck, and the legs do not fit into the leg rest – the feet press against its edge and the calf massage works in the wrong place. So the height limit is not a recommendation but a real design limit.
What helps tall people:
- a long SL track – in iRest chairs the massage rollers work from the neck down to the thighs;
- body scanning – before the massage the chair detects your shoulder height and adjusts the massage zone;
- an extendable leg rest – for example, the Dual Core V8 leg rest can be adjusted to your height and foot size.
What “maximum user weight” and seat width mean
The weight limit shows what load the chair frame and mechanisms can handle over the long term. For most iRest chairs the limit is 150 kg. For a larger person, seat width is just as important: in a narrow seat the side airbags squeeze too hard and sitting is uncomfortable. Choose a seat of at least 50 cm.

Best choice for a tall person (190–200 cm)
If you are close to 2 m tall, choose a model with a 200 cm limit. The most affordable one is Chillin Open A360-31 (1 570 €), with foot rollers – Chillin+ A360 (1 970 €), with stretching and Zero Wall – Supearl Open+ A336-31 (2 970 €). For deep 4D massage up to 200 cm – Maesthron A801, whose two mechanisms massage the entire back from the neck to the thighs.
All mid-range and upper-range 3D and 4D models also fit people up to 195 cm: Queentri, Grandease+, Brillactiq and Eagleton.
Best choice for a larger person
For a larger person three things matter most: the weight limit (at least 150 kg), a wider seat and a sturdy build. We recommend Brillactiq A665 (52 cm seat, 150 kg, 4D) or Supearl+ A336 and Supearl Open+ A336-31 (51 cm seat, 150 kg). Enjoyfy A2805 has the widest seat at 53 cm, but its weight limit is 120 kg.
If the whole family will use the chair
When people of different heights use the chair, choose a model based on the tallest family member and with body scanning – the chair will detect the shoulder height anew for each person. Compact models (Roomy, EasyQ – up to 180 cm) are better suited to shorter people.
It is best to try the chair before buying – at the RELIVO showroom in Vilnius (Statybininkų st. 1C-105) you will feel whether the massage rollers reach your shoulders and whether your legs are comfortable. More about choosing in the article how to choose a massage chair.
