iRest Maesthron (A801) or Dual Core V8: how the two flagships differ

The iRest Maesthron (A801) is the flagship of the range — restrained, classic, with all the advanced technology. The iRest Dual Core V8 is built on the same base but carries an official FC Bayern Munich licence and a sporting character. What do they share, and where do the differences start?

What the two chairs share

Both models have two independent massage mechanisms: a 4D system working from the neck to the lower back, and a 2D system from the lower back to the thighs. Two body zones are massaged at the same time.

• 17 massage techniques and 20 automatic programs;
• 3 personal program memory slots;
• a long SL rail — a 153 cm massage range from the neck to the thighs;
• AI Health Detection: oxygen saturation, heart rate and microcirculation are measured, and the chair assesses fatigue and suggests a program;
• mechanical forearm Piano massage, inspired by piano keys;
• a split iOpen rail allowing an almost flat position and full-body stretching in zero gravity;
• heating with natural jade stones in the mechanisms and a graphene mat on the back or chest;
• foot and calf rollers, an electrically adjustable footrest;
• 36 airbags with 5 intensity levels — arms, forearms, hands, hips, thighs, calves, feet;
• control by tablet, side panel, voice or app;
• Zero Wall, magnetotherapy, air ioniser, Bluetooth speakers, wireless charging and USB.

Maesthron (A801) — the classic

The Maesthron suits anyone who values restrained style and careful finishing. It reads as a piece of furniture rather than a device, so it settles into a living room more easily.

The one feature the Dual Core V8 lacks: 2 personal settings memory slots.

Dual Core V8 — the sporting character

The Dual Core V8 was made together with FC Bayern Munich. Beyond the design, it adds a list of things the Maesthron does not have:

• built-in relaxation music — three tracks chosen for tempo and frequency;
• a 10.5-inch tablet with a redesigned interface: AI results are visible from the home screen;
• separate manual control of the upper and lower mechanisms;
• a choice of whether the chair returns to its default position after a session;
• the forearm Piano massage can be switched off;
• software updates over Wi-Fi;
• wireless tablet charging in the holder;
• adjustable font size on the display;
• the LED light above the forearm massager can be turned off (on the Maesthron it is always on);
• a display timeout setting.

Which to choose

The massage itself is essentially the same — the mechanisms, rail, programs and heating are identical. The difference is in the controls and the character. For a restrained piece of furniture, choose the Maesthron (A801). For the newer interface, finer settings and a sporting design — the Dual Core V8.
